What lessons do you teach?
I teach business, general, and
academic English. Business English lessons focus on telephone communication,
presentation, meeting, and negotiation skills for global business.
Academic English lessons focus on exam strategy for IELTS, TOEFL, and SAT
exams. General English lessons customize relevant, authentic, and
entertaining material to target specific needs and goals. Lessons include listening,
speaking, pronunciation, writing, vocabulary, and reading activities.
What is your teaching style?
My communicative style allows
students to discover and correct their mistakes. I follow the CELTA method: I ask
concept and instruction questions to check students understand. This develops
both fluency and accuracy. I plan lessons for visual, audio, and kinesthetic
learning styles. Audio learners listen to podcasts and radio stations and record
telephone conversations. Visual learners watch online talks and film clips and
read books. Kinesthetic learners practice movement games with new vocabulary.
Do you speak Turkish?
Yes, I study Turkish at the beginner
level. I love learning and teaching new languages. I am proficient in French,
Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese.

What is the fee?
Lessons cost $50 or 100 TL/hour.
